EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR:POST-SPURS CAREER REVEALED

Emmanuel Adebayor spent six months without a club on the back of his spell at North London clubTottenham Hotspur. He was signed to a six-month deal at Crystal Palace.Adebayorwas confirmed as a Palace player on January 26, 2016. He was on the payroll of the Eagles for six months until the summer of 2016. Emmanuel Adebayor found the back of the net just once during his time at Selhurst Park. His lone Palace goal arrived during the Watford game in the Premier League. The attacker scored the only Palace goal during the Premier League game on February 13, 2016. Adebayor could not savethe Eagles from a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Watford.

On June 13, 2016, it was announced that Emmanuel Adebayor will leave Crystal Palaceat the end of his contract at the club. As stated in the message conveyed in a club statement, the striker left Palace at the end of June 30, 2016.

After his Palace spell, Emmanuel Adebayor spent another six months without a club before he signed for Turkish Super League side Istanbul Basaksehir on January 31, 2017. He signed for 18 months until the end of the 2017/18 season at Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish top flight.

Adebayorhit the ground running at Istanbul Basaksehir when he joined during the 2017 winter transfer window. His best game for Istanbul Basaksehir came against Galatasaray as he scored a treble to lead his team a 4-0 win at home. Adebayor scored six goals in 11 games in the league for Istanbul Basaksehir during the second half of the 2016/17 season as he helped his team to second spot at the end of the season. He added one more goal in five Turkish Cup games as his team emerged as beaten finalists.Adebayor also played for Turkish team Kayserispor and Paraguayan side Olimpia before he retired from professional football.
