EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR WANTS TO REMAIN IN ENGLAND

Emmanuel Adebayor who just quit the English Premier League club Crystal Palace this season that just ended is reported to be seeking clubs as he wants to remain in England.

The Togo international joined Palace in January after being clubless since the beginning of the season but could not impress enough to be retained. The player has played in Tottenham Hotspurs, Arsenal FC, and Manchester City all in England before his love to Crystal Palace.

The highly controversial player who is 32 years old could only get a goal in the 15 games he appeared in the club’s jersey. He earlier told reporters ahead of the FA Cup final match between Manchester United and Crystal Palace:

EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR JEERED AS PALACE PLAYED ARSENAL

When Adebayor came in from the bench, it prompted the most noise within the stadium as fans jeered.

Alan Pardew explains Emmanuel Adebayor substitution

Alan Pardew has explained why Emmanuel Adebayor was substituted at half-time in the game against Leicester. The Crystal Palace boss has stated that he did not have any issues with Emmanuel Adebayor and that he was substituted for tactical reason.

According to the Palace manager, his team was not playing on Adebayor’sstrength, and he feel that his team needed more movement up front. Adebayor does not offer this possibility up front, and it is for this tactical reason that he was replaced by BakarySako.

Pardew believes that Adebayor is a mature player and that he will understand the reason for this substitution and does not think this will cause any further issue within the team.

Emmanuel Adebayor reveals his frustration regarding Daniel Levy

Emmanuel Adebayor is a player who has gone through huge highs and immense lows throughout his playing career.

The Togolese forward is 32 years old and he is a renowned controversial figure as he has experienced issues with different managers and this has led with Adebayor being dropped to the sidelines on occasions that he has been fully fit and available to play. And this has occurred with separate teams that he has played in.

Daniel Levy is one of the figures in the world of football that Emmanuel Adebayor has showed displeasure as the Togolese recently unveiled some of the problems that he had when performing with his former club Tottenham Hotspur.

Emmanuel Adebayor has recently been linked with a stunning move to Sheffield Wednesday

Former Arsenal and Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has recently been linked with a stunning move to Sheffield Wednesday.

This comes as a major surprise, but the Championship club believed that they have everything needed to attract a top player likeAdebayor. The Togo international is currently available on a free transfer after having decided to mutually terminate his contract with Tottenham. He continues to receive his wages and will continue to do so until he finds a new club. Known for his goalscoring abilities and also the contribution he gives to help the team, Wednesday may have found a right transfer target.

Emmanuel Adebayor is not happy that he hasn’t been allowed to lead Togo

Emmanuel Adebayor is not happy that he hasn’t been allowed to lead Togo on a regular basis.

And, thus, he has started to think of making himself unavailable for national duty in future.

In Togo’s recently played game versus Liberia, it was Dossevi and not Adebayor who was asked to wear the armband by the manager.

Adebayor took it very offensively, but, he let his game do all the talking as he went out there in the middle and scored the second decisive goal for his team to win the game.

But, thereafter, in the post match interview, he hinted it might have been his last appearance in Togo shirt.

What irked Adebayor was not that he was not named captain for that particular Liberia game, but, the fact that he was made aware of that only a few hours ahead of the game.

Adebayor wants to prove himself but Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to sell him

In 4 seasons with Tottenham Hotspurs, Adebayor has made a total of 87 appearances and managed to score 35 goals. The Togolese striker is currently earning £100,000 each week with the Premier League club but for the past few weeks and even months, the English club has been attempting to sell him as he no longer plays an important role and want to slash down their wage bill.

Adebayor has 1 more year left in his contract and he is actually eager on stepping it up and prove his worth but Tottenham Hotspur have lost hope in the player as the club in the Premier League are determined to sell or release him during the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur wants to offload Emmanuel Adebayor as soon as possible

Emmanuel Adebayor is currently earning around €170,000 each week and this is an extremely high salary for a player who is serving as a back-up option in Tottenham Hotspur.

So far, in this season Adebayor has made 12 Premier League appearances and has scored twice.

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly believed to be ready to sell the Togolese striker in the summer transfer window which opens up when this season reaches it’s end.

The chairman of Tottenham, Daniel Levy is even prepared to release Adebayor on a free transfer as the businessman is seriously interested in removing Adebayor from the club in order to cut down the wages bill which is substantially high.

Mauricio Pochettino may send away Emmanuel Adebayor

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has dismissed claims that he has looked at the possibility of sending Emmanuel Adebayor away from the club on a permanent basis.

The striker sealed a permanent £ 5 million switch from Manchester City only a year ago, but he has not been a favourite at White Hart Lane. His recent fallout with the supporters – after claiming that Spurs would rather play away from home due to the harsh criticism at the Lane – has certainly not helped matters. Adebayor continues to be a major pull – given his goalscoring abilities – in the Premier League.

Emmanuel Adebayor Struggling with Virus

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says that he does not expect striker Emmanuel Adebayor to be back into the team until the end of Christmas.

The Togo international is reportedly struggling with a virus, although Pochettino will have little complaints about missing the forward. Adebayor has been going through a terrible run of form this campaign. His position at the club is similar to that of striker Roberto Soldado. The 30-year-old has managed just two goals – same as that of Soldado – and he recently came in for backlash from the fans after he criticised their support at White Hart Lane.
